I have two plasma’s, three lcd’s and a DLP 60 inch. They were all bought, around the same time, over a year and a half ago (mid-2008). At the time, they were all at the top of their game.
Today?
My plasma looks like garbage compared to the LED. If I had the funds to sell all these and get LEDs, I’d do it. So, it’s going to take a few months of savings before I can.
My neighbor and my mother-in-law have Samsung LEDs and they look great!
I really dont care for 3D. It’s a fad to me.
Making A Choice.
Whatever you decide, whether plasma or LED (LED is my personal favorite), I would only look at Samsung or LG in a new TV. Sony used to be impressive, especially with the WEGA’s a few years ago. Today, Samsung and LG really are the best around. It’s all I have in my house.
